The City and the Wild
Project by
Cities have traditionally been imagined as distanced from nature, based on a fundamental opposition between the city and the wild. This dichotomy hinders our ability to view the city as an ecosystem and to conceive of urban nature as a political space. During the tenure of her fellowship, Tea worked on a book manuscript that investigates philosophically how cities can be imagined as wild, and the political consequences of such an imaginary.
