The Collegium has recently published its annual report 2023-2024, offering an in-depth look at the dynamic activities and achievements of the past fellow year 2023–2024. The editorial and the personal spotlights written by fellows highlight the significance of sabbaticals in academia, emphasizing cross-disciplinary shared learning, fostering connectedness, and adopting new perspectives.
The report not only provides comprehensive documentation of the fellows' work and the event program but also highlights three fellowship journeys. Three early-career fellows share what motivated them to apply for a fellowship, the insights they gained and encounters they had during their time at the Collegium, and where those experiences have led them. Additionally, the report features an insightful interview with former Senior Fellow Huib Ernste who developed an interest in how the atmosphere at the Collegium is shaped by the people, their cultural backgrounds, and the building itself. To explore this, he conducted interviews with a number of fellows. Huib's findings shed light on the environment that fosters collaboration and creativity within this interdisciplinary institution.
The report is now available for those interested in the vibrant intellectual and cultural life at the Collegium.
