Charlotte Cavaillé’s research examines the dynamics of popular attitudes toward redistributive social policies at a time of rising inequality, high fiscal stress, and high levels of immigration. During her senior fellowship at the Collegium, Charlotte sought to unpack how concerns around free riding form and affect social policy preferences. This work builds on findings presented in her book Fair Enough? (2023).
