In October 2004 there was a loose circle named CHAO (Collegium Helveticum Alumni/-Ae Organisation) brought into being at the Collegium Helveticum which incorporates along with the former also the current researchers and employees of the Collegium Helveticum (associated members, former and current visitors and chairmen, employees, associates, assistants and junior assistants at the Collegium and at the former Professorship of Science Studies).
CHAO pursues particularly the social objectives of companionability and networking. Prospective members meet twice a year for the time being. The CHAO-occasion takes place on the first Friday of the winter and the summer term, respectively. Place and time will be announced to prospective members by e-mailing list.

CHAO set up a communication platform. Registration is carried out by e-mailing to alumni(at)collegium.ethz.ch with the subject «subscribe». An entry will be cancelled by sending an e-mail to alumni-request(at)collegium.ethz.ch with the subject «unsubscribe».
